You should also have a well-organized site that is easy to navigate.

One other way to also boost your page ranking is to get links from other reputable sites with high quality scores. The process can involve providing them with compelling copy and making sure that the anchor text used to link back to your site is not just the meaningless ‘click here’ but linked copy using the keywords you wish to score highly on.

So let’s start with traffic. The first method to getting traffic is the obvious one: You have to expose your website. Make it known. It has to be visible. It has to be frequently targeted by consumers. Put your url on every single corporate piece of communication, from signature files in your emails to your business card.

But that’s not all. Article directories, link pages, link partners, affiliates who will refer traffic to your site, in exchange for a percentage of your sales, all of these can come into play to drive traffic.

If you want to make money online fast, you will also need to invest some money and some time in marketing your website, and making sure that you have Rapid Conversion Landing Pages in place—pages in which your visitor will take the desired action you specify.

In most cases, you are going to hope they buy something, but you might also be happy with them completing a simple email registration form for a free newsletter, so you have a permission based relationship with them.

In that way, you will be able to market to them not just once, when they and on a page at your site, but over and over again, as you get permission to send them emails with special offers and deals.

How is this possible, you might ask?

Because most internet strategies talk about getting traffic, but few talk about converting it from browsers into buyers.

Everyone scrambles for eyeballs, but they don’t have a wallet! There is a brain behind those eyes, with different thoughts, emotions, price points, but the one thing they are all looking for is information.

Having a website is not enough to make your business running and able to compete. You need to drive traffic to that site, and there a number of ways to do that. You then need to CONVERT that traffic, and there are a number of ways to do that too, which we will be talking about in other articles.
